Animation styles

In class a few weeks ago I read and looked at a book for children named 'Cautionary Tales', although premises isn't really for children, the natural moral of the book is to divert children from running away or being a nuisance. However, what interested me was the animation style. Far from the Charlie Brown style of old, this was simplistic yet morecamb at the same time. If I were to use thisparticular style, the animation sequence would feature the characters in a more caricature way, this may divert the seriousness of the piece but may also aid some comic relief to further emphasise the tragedy.
